Hi! My name is Autumn, but I’m mostly known online as Luxiah. I compose in many different styles for all kinds of films and games, but I’m especially adept at cinematic scores, whether that’s orchestral, electronic, or using traditional rock instrumentations. I do all my composing work in Ableton Live 11, and all my film scoring and alignment in Pro Tools, mainly on keyboard and guitar. I play lots of instruments, including violin, ukulele, various percussion instruments, and mandolin, but I’m the most skilled at keyboard/piano and guitar (classical, acoustic, and electric). I listen to and inspired by a wide variety of music including pop-punk (Paramore, Yours Truly, and Cinema Stare are my favorites), indie rock (Hozier, Car Seat Headrest, Garbage), other video game soundtracks (Hollow Knight, Omori, anything by Lena Raine), and film scores (How To Train Your Dragon, Howl’s Moving Castle)
I mostly focus on video games, short films, and creating atmosphere through music, sound effects, and ambiance, but I am also open to doing other projects.
I have pretty good knowledge of game design and programming, and have participated in several game jams. I’ve mainly worked in Godot and GDscript, but I also have some experience with Unity and Unreal Engine, and have some basic C# knowledge from working on projects with a friend, as well as some basic Java knowledge from working on Minecraft mods and plugins.
